PAOLO LUTZU

Chef Paolo Lutzu was born in Treviso, near Venice, Italy, but his origins are from Sardinia. His love of the kitchen was inspired by his Sardinian father, who introduced him to restaurant life and how to prepare Sardinian and Venetian dishes. After completing his studies, Chef Paolo worked for high-end restaurants in Italy including Ca’ del Poggio Relais, situated on the famous hills of Prosecco wine country and Ristorante Ai Casoni, on the Venetian Riviera. In 1998, he relocated to Miami where he worked for many years at Tiramisu Restaurant in South Beach and at Salumeria 104. He has worked at Zona Blu since its opening, fulfilling his dream of recreating the Sardinian dishes he loved as a child. Chef Paolo’s cooking style is innovative and explores modern variations of Mediterranean cuisine. He prefers fresh, seasonal ingredients and has been instrumental in collaborating with Chef Fadda to create our unique menu that changes seasonally.
